Let’s learn all about Patio! Patio Diner is a local, small, family-run business. The current owners, Lana and Ricky Arthur, have dedicated their lives to bringing the highest quality food, at the best price to Patio. We pride ourselves in specialized burgers, sandwiches, and hand whipped shakes of almost any variety. Our food is made to order, and it is cooked fresh. We love our little restaurant, and we hope you will too!
On December 3rd, 2018, we were so proud to share our grand re-opening with our community. We are so grateful to all who have helped make our dreams achievable. We feel so blessed. The updates have created a starting point for Patio to be enjoyed for another 60 years!
We are so excited to announce that starting in 2019 we will have LIVE MUSIC during weekends and the dinner rush! Come enjoy a great meal and listen to some soothing music played on our beautiful 1950’s piano or local artists like Dennis Kaniatobe on his guitar. We hope you enjoy the live entertainment as much as we do!
We Love License Plates
What began as quirky decor idea has become a defining characteristic of Patio. The License Plate Wall begin with two license plates given by Todd Blickenstaff in 2008. He wanted a piece of their family in their favorite restaurant. Since then, our license plate collection has grown exponentially! It is a rare week that the Patio doesn’t receive a license plate through the mail from one of our many incredible customers. We feel honored that so many people want to be a part of our little restaurant.

Four days later...
“The shakes are so thick that they don’t even bother with a straw – they just hand you a spoon. Amazing.
“It’s now four days later… and I am still having regrets for letting my dad finish off the shake.”

I rode 600 miles
“Simply amazing. I rode 600 miles on a motorcycle and found this little gem. … My lucky day. I am a burger and fry fanatic too. The burger and fries were both easily to 20 of top all time.”

Questions About Patio
Let’s learn stuff! Sometimes people have questions about our amazing food, so here are the most common questions.
What is fry sauce?
Fry sauce is the incredible Utah dipping sauce that is a clever mixture of mayo, ketchup, and mustard. Trust us, it is amazing.
What is a basket?
Some people call them meals, we call them baskets. Add a side and drink to your sandwich, burger, or salad to make it a basket.
Plus, it saves you a couple bucks.
Do you have any vegetarian options?
YES! We have several vegetarian options. You can try our loaded veggies, and you can hold the meat in any of our incredible salads, the Lana House Salad is a fantastic option. Don’t forget the milkshakes.
Do you have a drive through?
We no longer have a drive through in the traditional sense. It is better. No more waiting in line just to order, now you order online or by phone and pick up your food up at our pickup window. Easy peasy!
Can we customize our burgers?
Of course! We want to make you the best burger you have ever had. Feel free to hold the lettuce, add some cheese, pile on extra bacon, hold the mayo, add extra tomatoes, or anything else you can think of. Custom burgers are part of the fun.
What is your most popular item?
We took a vote and we think that the Big B Burger with regular fries is our most popular item. It was closely followed by the Chicken, Ham, and Swiss sandwich.
What does BKE mean?
There are three lines in our logo. Each of those lines represent a different man: Brian Bayles, Kim Acton, & Eric Johnson. These men served in our community and passed away in a tragic plane accident in 2008. Brian owned Patio when he passed away, Lana & Ricky, our current owners bought us to help support his surviving family and carry on the Patio legacy. The Bayles family was an important part of Patio history, so we do what we can to remember their dad and the men he spent his last day with. Learn more here.
